i-CAN set-top boxes provide the ultimate TV entertainment experience, enabling viewers to access DVD quality programming with a full range of MHP interactive services delivered rapidly and reliably.

Recognised as the industry's best open standard product, i-CAN has been the set-top box of choice for developers of interactive content across the world. Following the DVB-MHP 1.0.x open standard, i-CAN set-top boxes incorporate the leading MHP implementation from Osmosys for supporting interactive applications, and are powered by state-of-the-art MPEG-2 processors from STMicroelectronics. All are equipped with impressive memory resources, a return channel and a smart card reader for accessing personalised services. Connections for the TV set, VCR and Home Cinema amplifier are standard features. Additionally, a software loader for remote upgrades is integrated, allowing future services to be downloaded into the box over the air.

It was the first MHP box to be successfully mass-deployed in countries broadcasting free interactive television. It is available through various distribution channels under the i-CAN brand as well as being marketed under reputable global consumer electronics brands.
