Set-top box suppliers must be experts in technical integration and work with a number of technology providers to bring a successful product to market; such partnerships are afforded critical importance at ADB.

Key technology suppliers for any project - often pre-selected by digital television operators - typically include a conditional access (CA) provider (to allow operators to encrypt and charge for services), a middleware provider (to enable applications such as an electronic programme guide to run on the set-top box), and a micro-processor supplier – the technology at the heart of the product.

Our ability to work closely and effectively with such companies allows us to specify, integrate and launch products in advance of the competition.
