ADB, a woman-led SME company, is also strongly committed to sustainability. The Company highly prioritizes on ethical practices, emissions reduction, circular economy, waste management, and social responsibility.
In our sustainability journey, we have joined initiatives such as the SBTi, SME Climate Hub, adopted the Women Empowerment Principles, became a member of the Cybersecurity Tech Accord and of the Diversity Charter in Poland (Forum Odpowiedzialnego Biznesu). Our sustainability policies, actions, and KPIs are being audited on regular basis. In 2024, we earned the Platinum medal for sustainability from EcoVadis, which ranks us as the top 1% of all companies worldwide.
We also intend to join the United Nations Global Compact and focus on Sustainable Development Goals together with our approved science-based near-term emission reduction target of reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year.
We have already implemented emission reduction initiatives focused on improving energy efficiency in our offices, aiming to gradually increase the percentage of renewable energy consumed. The company has calculated Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and included Scope 3 emissions for the 1st time in the 2023 CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) questionnaire.
The goals pursued by ADB in the area of sustainable development are a continuation of the activities initiated in 2022, as part of the CSR Strategy. Acquired knowledge and experience in the field of social activities and environmental protection has been translated into specific commitments to support the process of ‘greening’, responsible development, and sourcing of our products as well as promote circularity.
